Louisiana Office of Culture Recreation & Tourism (Louisiana State Parks) selected, through a competitive solicitation, Brandt, to replace its existing central reservation, point of sale and golf cart management system, and other administrative applications managed both in-house and by its previous vendor. Brandt developed the industry-leading new, customized Go Outdoors Louisiana and launched it on-time with great success on June 1, 2022.
The implementation and launch of Go Outdoors Louisiana included on-site requirements gathering, user acceptance testing and process mapping for many existing and new work-flows to allow Louisiana residents and visitors to access a secure and state-of-the-art solution for their beloved state parks. The launch includes sales channels of in-park, online and a Brandt-run call center for making reservations and day-use sales. The new online system offers industry-firsts and exclusives including 360-degree street-view maps with floating campsite markers, weather integration, “favorites” campsites, repeat-my-reservation and more. Other new online enhancements include the ability to purchase annual passes, gift cards, and merchandise online.
