In 2016, Brandt was selected by Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency (TWRA) to design and implement a suite of solutions and services including recreational licensing, quota hunts, license agent sales, and boat registration management.

Go Outdoors Tennessee’s Donation Center makes it easy for customers to support wildlife conservation while purchasing licenses. Whether contributing directly or selecting a thank-you gift like a hat or printed materials, donors play a vital role in funding critical programs. This initiative strengthens public engagement while generating additional revenue for conservation—an approach that other states can adopt to enhance their own funding efforts.
The implementation and transition of the new Go Outdoors Tennessee solution included the coordination of several components, including the deployment of point of sale hardware and transitioning License Agents from VeriFone hardware to full point of sale computers with display monitors for the 200+ License Agents who selected Brandt’s hardware. Brandt provided all 800+ License Agents full online training prior to implementation, and supported TWRA’s law enforcement, game management, administrative, and support users and business requirements and specifications.
The Event Management feature transformed how TWRA manages hunting and fishing events, including Hunter and Boater Education classes. TWRA can easily create and manage events, track attendance in real-time, and monitor participant engagement — all from a centralized hub. The system also allows for quick roster updates and the issuance of customized certification cards, making event management more efficient and user-friendly.
