Oregon

The Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife leveraged Brandt’s Terra solution for its Electronic License System (ELS). The system went live into production on December 1, 2018 and Terra continues to work with ODFW to enhance the ELS solution.

Electronic Licensing

This progressive implementation of ODFW’s Outdoor Licensing and Recreation solution is focused on supporting the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife’s transition away from durable paper licenses and towards electronic licensing. Not only can customers now carry all licenses on their mobile devices, they can likewise electronically validate their tags and report their fish and big game harvests. This implementation truly demonstrates the flexibility of our platform and its ability to adapt to each state’s business model. As a further benefit to the state, the new ELS, built on Brandt’s Terra solution, provides a platform for ODFW to expand its offerings to internal stakeholders and customers alike.

Mobile App

The native IOS and Android mobile application is available to customers to track digital licenses and harvest tags while online and offline in the field. The new approach being developed for E-Tagging and 8 1/2 x 11 Paper Tagging will allow for an implementation without providing license agent hardware and ruggedized license stock.
