Colorado Parks and Wildlife Selects Brandt to Help Modernize Integrated Parks and Wildlife System 

Colorado Parks and Wildlife has signed a contract with Brandt Information Services to help modernize the agency’s Integrated Parks and Wildlife System. The new system is planned to launch in 2027 following design, development, testing, training, and transition activities. 

CPW’s license and reservation system supports many of the public-facing and operational services that connect Coloradans and visitors with Colorado’s outdoors. The modernized system is expected to support hunting and fishing licensing, park passes, camping and other reservations, vessel and vehicle registration, retail sales, customer account management, point-of-sale activity, call center support, fulfillment, financial reporting, data management, and integrations with related agency systems. 

The project is designed to give Colorado Parks and Wildlife a modern, intuitive, secure, and reliable platform while supporting the agency’s complex statutory, regulatory, operational, and customer service needs. 

“Colorado Parks and Wildlife serves millions of residents and visitors each year, and this project is about making those interactions clearer, more accessible, and more dependable,” said Kelly Kaemerer, Assistant Director of Information and Education for Colorado Parks and Wildlife. “We are taking a thoughtful implementation approach so that staff, partners, license agents, and the public are prepared for a successful launch.” 

Brandt was selected through a competitive procurement process for the system. The selection followed proposal review, demonstrations, interviews, and evaluation by the State.

Implementation work is underway, with public updates expected as the project progresses toward the planned 2027 launch.
