In August of 2018, Brandt began designing and implementing the Iowa Department of Natural Resources (DNR) system. Six months later, the system went live in February of 2019. Brandt is currently supporting Go Outdoors Iowa, the new DNR electronic licensing system, which is a statewide system used to sell or otherwise make available to the public, selected outdoor recreation and commercial privileges. Privileges include, but are not limited to, hunting licenses, fishing licenses, commercial fishing licenses, safety education certificate duplicates, IowaOutdoors magazine, etc.
Vehicle & Vessel Registration
Go Outdoors Iowa includes recreational vehicle and vessel registration workflows used by DNR and County Recorders to register, renew, title and place liens on recreational vehicles and vessels throughout the State of Iowa.
Text to Harvest
In Spring 2020, Go Outdoors Iowa released an industry first text-to-harvest feature just in time for Spring Turkey Season. While hunters can report their turkey or deer through a variety of methods, texting is the quickest and easiest. Hunters can just simply text their registration number to 1-800-771-4692 and follow the prompts.
