PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries & Parks (MDWFP) selected the Itinio Reservations and point-of-sale solution in late 2021 to replace multiple disconnected systems and assist with updating parks policies and field practices. Our initial challenge was to help stem a years-long decline in statewide parks use by working closely with the MDWFP parks team on improving guest services and operational efficiency leading to overall revenue growth.

We’re proud of the MDWFP for their effort in the first full year supported by Brandt systems and services – with substantial improvements in revenue, audit, and customer service.

Working alongside the passionate and dedicated MDWFP Parks team, our project managers and product engineers continue to implement new and efficient processes to continue to make progress on the agency’s objectives.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

West Virginia’s Electronic Licensing and Game Checking System (ELS) leverages Brandt’s Terra Solution offering sportspersons the opportunity to purchase annual and lifetime hunting and fishing licenses via the internet, at DNR, or via one of West Virginia’s more than 150 point of sale agents.

The ELS includes a robust Quota Hunt and Lottery capability and successful hunters have the ability to check their game at an agent location, over the internet, or by telephone via an Interactive Voice Response system.

During implementation, the team performed legacy data migration and cleansing, system development and implementation, hardware and software deployment, and specialized training to the West Virginia Division of Natural Resources and its agents.
